Splash Car Wash was inducted in the Connecticut Business Hall of Fame/Class of 2007 on Tuesday, March 25th at a ceremony in Hartford, Connecticut. Splash was recognized for its business accomplishments and its contributions to the communities it serves.

Splash Car Wash enters the Business Hall of Fame

Mark Curtis (CEO), who with partner Chris Fisher, both life long Greenwich residents, began Splash in 1981 with a single location in that town. Over the past 27 years, the business has grown to nineteen locations with more than 500 employees and washing over one million cars a year.

During the induction ceremony, Curtis recognized the employees of Splash as the reason it has achieved this pinnacle of success. Attending the event with Curtis and Fisher were Allan Stoddard, Director of Human Resources and Dean of Splash University, along with Jay Frank, Ron Manning, Bill Trabulsy, and Frank Murphy, Area Managers for Splash. Curtis mentioned that Murphy was celebrating his 20th year with the firm this month.

Splash has also been awarded the prestigious Mass Mutual Blue Chip Enterprise Award and has been voted the #1 Car Wash in various publications a total of sixteen times. Its managers have been recognized by trade publications as "the Most Valuable Carwasher" and "Manager of the Year" an unprecedented three times.

Curtis said that along with Splash's expansion it will continue its commitment to the communities that it serves. To date, Splash has donated over one million dollars in cash and in-kind services for many local organizations and charities.
