Splash Car Washes recently helped ensure that quality support services remain available to people living in lower Fairfield County.

The Splash location in Darien recently presented the Center for HOPE with a check for $2,685 to help fund the program’s bereavement and illness support services. Splash’s Stamford location also presented The Den for Grieving Kids with $1,059. Both the Center for HOPE and The Den for Grieving Kids are programs of Family Centers.

“Thanks to the generosity of community partners like Splash, children and adults in need continue to have a place where they can begin the healing process,” said Deirdre Lewin, director of the Center for HOPE and The Den for Grieving Kids.

The money represents a percentage of the proceeds from Splash’s annual holiday gift card sale. Every year, Splash locations in Connecticut and New York adopt local charities and earmark part of the proceeds from gift card sales to those charitable organizations.
